 iGas Technology Solutions is a specialist supplier of technology and engineering to the industrial gases industry, providing flexible access to system solutions, professional project management, and a comprehensive portfolio of engineering products and services. Established in 2001, the business offers “Turnkey” projects with expertise in air separation, cylinder filling, cryogenics, and gas distribution and mixing. Customers are UK, Europe and South Africa based, with offshore applications of particular interest.
Having always maintained and developed a quality approach to project execution, they decided to appoint IMSM to help them go through the processes to achieve ISO9001:2000. Certification to this International Standard increased perception of their expertise and enhanced recognition in the highly specialised marketplace. “With 15 technically qualified engineers and project managers, our systems were already tightly controlled. We wanted the ISO Certification to recognise this, and also to give us a mechanism for continuous improvement and monitoring against non-conformances” said Rob Lee, Business Director of iGas. “As and when issues are identified, we can quickly spot them through the transparency of this system, and take appropriate measures to ensure they do not happen again.”
