Vice President, Gary Cornell, told Quest: “We decided to go for ISO because we realized it would be of benefit to both our customers and ourselves. Although we had concerns that the process was going to be too rigid and wouldn’t fit with the way we run our business, it was actually much easier than expected. There were just a few minor changes to be made. Our Assessor, Keith Pyett, was very helpful and responsive. I’d recommend anyone considering ISO 9000 to go ahead. It has certainly helped a lot with our supplier relations.” Mr Cornell explained, “Implementing ISO makes us look at everyday operations and how we can make them more efficient. It’s an ongoing process of improvement”.
