Darac, based in Shoreham, West Sussex, supplies rubber and
plastics mouldings for a wide range of industrial and retail uses,
including printing, farm machinery and body jewellery parts to customers
in the UK, USA and Eire.
Managing Director Steve Edwards decided to embark on ISO9000 certification
to demonstrate to customers that they had formally recognised quality
procedures in place:
"I'm very pleased with the results. Not only has ISO9000 improved
productivity, but the manuals produced as part of the process mean
that a clear structure to company operation is mapped out, giving
the company a sound base to grow."
